Full Summer and back in swing! 08/18/2009
Wow, what a crazy busy summer! Hard to believe it's time to start the new school year again. The sailing club will help start the new year at the first annual 4H day, September 12th. There will be games, door prizes, and more! See you there. :) April Meeting 04/29/2009

What a wonderful time we had, during our "Christmas in November" party! We made around 40 cards for our troops! Plus a good amount of Operation Christmas child boxes! :) The elections were held and new office positions will be in the newsletter. Make sure to check out the pics! Another Fine Sail 09/16/2008
What a fun meeting Sailors!! Thanks for the yummy Sonic burgers Wilson family! :) John was the chosen captain of the day, and got a lesson on putting the sails up and maneuvering the ship on his own. (With the help of Lauren and me. lol) We organized the next few meetings, and the new member meeting and elections are right around the corner. This year has gone by so fast!! Great meeting today sailors! Thank you Wilson family for the Sonic Burgers!! :) Lauren did a wonderful job setting up the boat solo today. Not a whole lot of wind, so perfect for practicing. All over a wonderful time! ^_^ First water meeting! 06/19/2008
On the boats finally! Lessons and land meetings paid off, we set sail with ease. The weather was perfect for sailing, perfect wind and perfect sunshine. Of course we had to celebrate the first water meeting with food! :) Pizza and ice cream gave us the energy needed to sail in ship shape. ;) We started with a rigging lesson, then it was on the boats and hours of practicing different sailing techniques with out anyone going overboard. Good job crew! :) |
