We made around 40 cards for our troops! Plus a good amount of Operation Christmas child boxes! :) The elections were held and new office positions will be in the newsletter. Thanks for the yummy Sonic burgers Wilson family! :) John was the chosen captain of the day, and got a lesson on putting the sails up and maneuvering the ship on his own. (With the help of Lauren and me. lol) We organized the next few meetings, and the new member meeting and elections are right around the corner. This year has gone by so fast!! The weather was perfect for sailing, perfect wind and perfect sunshine. Of course we had to celebrate the first water meeting with food! :) Pizza and ice cream gave us the energy needed to sail in ship shape. ;) We started with a rigging lesson, then it was on the boats and hours of practicing different sailing techniques with out anyone going overboard. Good job crew! :)
